How advertising optimization reduced the cost of an order to UAH 21 for “Yizhak”

Food delivery company “Yizhak” was asked to reduce the cost of customer acquisition and scale advertising to different countries. We tested over 100 Facebook Ads campaigns, optimized audiences and creatives, which allowed us to get over 1.3 million reach and CPL from $0.54. This case is about a systematic approach to performance marketing, when every dollar of the budget works for results.

About the Project

The client is a local food delivery service “Yizhak”, which started with pizza delivery and later expanded its menu to include burgers. The business was new to the market, so the main goal was to quickly get the first orders and secure a position among local competitors.

Tasks

  • Ensure a stable flow of online orders.
  • Keep the cost per order no higher than 100 UAH.
  • Launch advertising via Google Ads (Search and Display Network) with proper analytics.

What We Did

  • Set up Google Ads: search campaigns for hot queries (“order pizza,” “burger delivery”) and Display Network campaigns to reach a wider audience.
  • Installed Google Analytics to track conversions and measure the effectiveness of each campaign.
  • Developed banner ad creatives with a focus on appetizing photos and special offers.
  • Conducted A/B testing of texts and banners to identify the most converting options.
  • Launched promotional campaigns (“1+1 pizza,” burger menu discounts) to encourage repeat orders.
  • Optimized the budget by disabling ineffective keywords and placements in the Display Network.

Conclusion

Thanks to a properly configured Google Ads strategy and regular campaign optimization, we managed to reduce the cost per order by 5 times compared to the initial plan. For a local business, this meant a steady flow of customers, increased brand awareness, and the ability to scale the menu (adding burgers).
