LF Bros, a manufacturer of autonomous diesel heaters, approached us with a request to increase brand awareness and sales through online advertising. We launched a targeted strategy in Google Ads with a focus on Performance Max, remarketing, and Smart Bidding. The result was over 820% ROAS, UAH 823,000 in revenue, and hundreds of applications in 3 months. Effective advertising is when every hryvnia works.

About the project

LF Bros is a leading manufacturer of autonomous diesel heaters for cars and special equipment. The goal of the project was to increase brand awareness and attract new customers through Google Ads.

Requests made by the customer

We want to increase brand awareness and attract more customers through online advertising. Our previous efforts did not yield stable results, and budgets were spent without a clear strategy. Therefore, we are looking for experts who will create an effective digital strategy, optimize advertising, and ensure high ROAS and transparency in work.

Problem

The main objective of this project was to develop and implement a digital promotion strategy focused on:

  • Increase audience reach and brand awareness.
  • Attract customers from social networks and search platforms.
  • Increase sales through the website and other channels.

The main KPIs are increasing conversions and return on advertising investment (ROAS).

Launch strategy

✅ Target audience analysis

We conducted thorough target audience research to understand who our potential customers are and what exactly interests them:

  • Demographics: We identified age, gender, regions of residence, and other important parameters.
  • Behavioral aspects: We researched what products customers are looking for, what problems they want to solve, and what channels they use to find information.
  • Key interests and pain points: We created audience portraits, in particular for customers looking for quality car accessories, with an emphasis on their expectations regarding product reliability and functionality.

This allowed us to customize our advertising in the most targeted way possible, focusing on those who are already interested in similar products.

✅ Advertising strategy in Google Ads

To achieve effective results, we used modern Google Ads tools and approaches:

  • Performance Max campaigns: We launched campaigns that combined all available advertising formats (search ads, banners, videos) to reach the maximum audience. This format allowed us to attract new customers through automation and optimization.
  • Retargeting campaigns: We created ads that targeted users who had already visited the site but did not complete a purchase. Retargeting helped to bring back potential customers by offering them additional incentives, such as promotions or discounts.
  • Ad extensions: We also added additional elements to the ads, such as contact information, quick links to popular pages of the site, and reviews, to increase their effectiveness.

✅ Budget optimization

To maximize your advertising investment, we focused on budget efficiency:

  • Campaign Performance Analysis: We regularly tracked the performance of each campaign to determine which ones were performing best. This allowed us to redirect budgets to the most profitable advertising formats.
  • Smart Bidding: We set up an automated bidding system that takes into account real-world customer behavior data and maximizes ROI.
  • Cost Control: We also optimized our cost-per-click by reducing spend on lower-performing keywords and increasing budget on high-converting ones.

Project challenges and our solutions

Project challenges are always the most interesting part of our work, as they allow us to be creative and find unconventional solutions. And implementing effective solutions allows us not only to overcome difficulties, but also to achieve high results for our client.

Here are the challenges we faced in this particular project:

1. High competition in the market of autonomous diesel heaters for cars and special equipment

The market is saturated with big brands with high advertising budgets.

Decision:

  • We implemented Google Ads campaigns with a focus on carefully selected keywords that had low competition.
  • We also optimized the budget using Smart Bidding to focus on the most effective segments.

2. Insufficient repeat purchase rate

LF Bros’ current customers did not always return to them for repeat orders.

Decision:

  • We implemented retargeting campaigns to bring back customers who had already visited the site.
  • We developed newsletters via Viber and Telegram with personalized offers and promotions.

3. Unoptimized local audience reach

The brand was not fully utilizing the potential of local SEO to attract customers.

Decision:

  • We optimized our Google My Business profile, added quality content, updated photos, and collected customer reviews.
  • We also implemented contextual advertising with geotargeting to increase local traffic.

✔️ These solutions allowed us not only to overcome challenges, but also to significantly increase the effectiveness of campaigns, attracting new customers and increasing the brand’s profitability.

Development of a promotion strategy

Hypotheses we tested:

  1. Using Performance Max campaigns to reach the largest audience and attract new customers. This format helped us reach the widest possible audience by combining multiple advertising channels.
  2. Launching search advertising on general keywords. The goal was to see if this approach could attract new customers.
  3. Using retargeting to bring back customers who interacted with the site but did not complete a purchase.

 

Changes we made:

  • Updated bid strategies to improve campaign profitability.
    Added negative margin to search campaigns to filter out irrelevant traffic.
  • Optimized budget by shifting focus to the most effective campaigns, such as PMax heaters.
  • Used Russian product feed to increase ad relevance.

Killer features or what worked great on the project

What exactly worked great and helped us achieve our goals:

1. Performance Max campaigns in Google Ads

The launch of Performance Max campaigns allowed us to combine different advertising formats and achieve maximum audience reach, increasing the number of customers with minimal costs.

2. Retargeting with personalized offers

Retargeting campaigns helped us bring back customers who had already interacted with the brand, increasing conversions and repeat purchases.

3. Budget optimization with Smart Bidding

Automated bidding has enabled us to maximize our return on advertising spend (ROAS) by focusing our budget on the most effective campaigns.

4. Local SEO and Google My Business

Optimizing your local presence through Google My Business significantly increased brand awareness among your local audience, thereby increasing traffic to your site.

Results

During our cooperation (October 1 – December 31) with LF Bros, we achieved significant results for the business, which indicate the effectiveness of the chosen advertising strategy:

Total budget:

▪️ UAH 100,530.79 was spent on advertising campaigns.

Reach and clicks:

▪️ Showings: 1 527 242

▪️ Clicks: 33 108

▪️ Average cost per click: 3,04 грн

Sales volume:

▪️ UAH 823,984.59 — revenue from sales, excluding inquiries via the feedback form and phone calls.

Return on advertising investment (ROAS):

▪️ 820% — Every hryvnia invested in advertising brought more than 8 hryvnias in income.

Conversions:

▪️ Cart sales: 157

▪️ Application via the “Buy in 1 click” form: 274

▪️ Phone calls: 319

These results confirm that investment in advertising allowed LF Bros to significantly increase both sales and overall business performance.
